When I think about living spiritually and metaphysically, I get really excited. I get to anchor my beliefs in God as my Source and the center of my being AND embrace all of the tools and systems that we were given to align with being and becoming our HIGHEST self. The alignment helps us to remember who and whose we are. That we are in this incarnation for a purpose... but the first step is to "know thyself." Remember who you are!

One of the amazing tools that intersects spirituality and metaphysics is journaling. It know many see it as "what's trending" these days and there is a reason for that (maybe you will find it as your explore my website) but it actually is part of a very ancient and principled system. Many of us may use our journals to pour out our worries and expand on our joys or just to have an unbaised conversation that can lead to self-healing. While it is all of those things for me, I most understand it as writing the vision for my life. My wishlists even when I don't know how I might get my wishes. I can still dream them into my reality!

These words have always seemed so profound when I would hear them... "write the vision and make it plain..." Well, I kept reading that particuar scripture and guess what is also reveals? We are supposed to write the vision on tablets (our journals, our paper, our tablet)! But we are also supposed to write it down so that the ONE (the spiritual part of me that is connected to every aspect of the universe; the seen and unseen; known and unknown) who reads it will run with it (put in motion)! THEN, we must also know that the vision is set for an APPOINTED time (not our time; again already in motion as I am writing it) and it will manifest!

We are also instructed to know that it will take time (the universe has a lot of moving of hearts, minds, circumstances to bring about the manifestation of my vision). Even if it seems to take time more time than I would like, it will "surely come!" Believing that it will manifest, even when I don't know when or how, is where faith finds its home in me. I have witnessed this process throughout my own life and encouraged it for others. I have held the vision for and with others for marriage, mates, children, jobs, businesses, books, wealth, health, events, elevation and even tranformation. This is just one example of the intersection of spirituality and metaphysics aligning in my life. I am sure that you have had similar examples and experiences even if you didn't feel it was spiritual or metaphysical.

“Write the vision; make it plain on tablets, so he may run who reads it. For still the vision awaits its appointed time; it hastens to the end—it will not lie. If it seems slow, wait for it; it will surely come; it will not delay." Habakkuk 2:2-3 English Standard Version
