For many women work, life and balance are 3 separate tasks. Thats a real thing. A real place. with real consequences. The real question is.... can it really be achieved? Like many cliches' these words have been tossed around for about 10 years or so now. A new level of "what's trending" with an entire industry of products and services behind it to fund with our efforts to try to stay in the trends as established by influencer. Stop. Relax. Take a breath. To achieve peace and harmony (which is really the goal) we must reset and set a clear path of what we want first.

We must put ourselves in order. We must begin with a real foundation of knowing ourselves first and what we want for ourselves... then others. Our truth is that we may have children, mates, family, social and work commitments along with other responsibilities that are already time consumers. You may be wondering.... "how can I find the time to...?" Just a reminder, there are 24 hours in a day, 168 hours in a week and 8760 hours in a year. We live by hour, day and year through incredible measures of time but we ARE living. Even if our living ia not to the fullest or balanced. Thriving is the best measure of a well lived life managed by time.

If you don't have a written vision for your life--- Examples include a vision board with images and words, a journal with written goals in the 6 key areas of your life, business plan, written relationship characteristics and descriptions with instructions on how your reflection can match/compliment it, affirmations to remind yourself daily of who you are and that you are deserving, a commitment to becoming your best self, a mentor to help guide you and show you important aspects of you, positive models of behavior and practice to mirror, and a grounding in your Source or beliefs---- This is where you begin!

Become what's trending in your world! Know yourself first and grow as you go.

The Work. Work has a different meaning for different circumstances of your life. Work could be your livelihood. The vehicle of cash or currency earned create and/or support your lifestyle and/or basic needs. The amount of effort it takes to show up and/or perform necessary tasks. Work can be how we execute our thoughts, ideas, and/or values. Determining where your press and stressors take most of your time and efforts is a good place begin to find balance. By asking yourself:

1) Why am I working so hard (what is this for, what am I trying to achieve, is there another way)? 2) Why am I here in this place (mindset, location, situation)? 3) What am I sacrificing (my health, time, relationships)?

The Life. Life is about experiences and the choices, behaviors and practices that open and close doors for you and to you. Life is about the journey and how you live it. Although many may use both terms loosely, life has a begin and an end. One day, the construct called life will end. The body will eventually return to particles of matter; the soul will reflect on how you lived and the spirit will become of part of the legacy that lives on in those you impacted and were impacted you. There are three plans for your life:

1) God's perfect plan. 2) The course we follow. 3) The path left untraveled.

Determine which plan(s) you will cultivate and why based on what you want in your vision for your life. Your life begins when you wake up and own it. Believe it. Know that it comes with tests, trials, joys and triumphs to refine you. Lessons and blessings that require your attention and intention that define you. Actively engage in the process of gratitude and giving and just like the lotus, watch how your life begins to unfold.

The Balance. Balance is the knowledge to set and honor boundaries. Period. It is not a dollar for dollar, pound for pound payment. It is the rounding of the sharp edges that allow you to be both present and the gift simultaneously. Building the lifestyle of wants and needs while honoring your mind, body and spirit in loving support of others. Learning the value of reciprocity brings accountability to the vision of your life; providing the balance of time and intention to your awareness.
